Practising yoga becomes even more enjoyable when your pets interrupt you for a cuddle. This post shows fun photographs of those sweet moments when pets tried to do yoga with their owners.
When you combine playing with your dogs while doing yoga stretches, it becomes Doga. I am kidding! What happens when it’s International Yoga Day, you are calmly practising yoga, taking photographs of yoga poses, and your pet comes to you for more hugs and kisses? Who can deny such pure love? It’s the most lovable interruption that automatically brings a smile and makes you forget all your worries.
Doing online research, I found out that Dog Yoga is indeed a trend that was created by Suzi Teitelman in 2001. It is another cool modification of the usual yoga poses where you can lift your pup carefully or stretch with your dog. It’s also a wonderful way to spend quality time with your pets.
Some pets are so used to watching their owners practise yoga that they like to imitate them. Let’s look at some fun photographs that will definitely surprise you.
WHAT WOULD PEOPLE CALL A MODEL DOING YOGA? A POSER.
PEOPLE SAY THAT YOGA WILL CHANGE YOUR LIFE. BUT I THINK THAT’S BIT OF A STRETCH.
YOU DO THE DOWNWARD DOG BUT REMEMBER I AM A MOUNTAIN GOAT!
YOGA BRINGS PEACE OF MIND AND PETS BRING LOVE TO YOUR LIFE.
THE VIEW FROM UP HERE IS SO MUCH BETTER THAN YOUR UPSIDE DOWN VIEW.
WHAT DID THE YOGI TELL HIS DOG? NAMA, STAY!
YOGA IS ALL ABOUT MAINTAINING A PROPER BALANCE!
WHY DO DOGS LOVE YOGA CLASS? IT’S A GOOD CHANCE TO PAWS AND REFLECT!
THE ONLY WEIGHTS I LIFT ARE MY DOGS!
I HAVE A BETTER POSE THAN YOURS, BETTY!
I hope you enjoyed this fun yoga post. HAPPY INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAY!

Pets teach us to love deeply and honestly. When they give us so much attention, then why not include them during yoga session. 😊

This was definitely a fun post. When I first heard about yoga with goats, I was like how? I heard it may actually be a bit painful if the goat begins jumping on you. However, some people may like that. Dog and cat yoga I can understand much better. I recall times when I’ll do some yoga and my cat would just come by and do “downward cat” right next to me and walk off casually. Just showing off! LOL I love it. Thanks for the laughs!

I’ve recently been seeing a lot of videos randomly appearing on my Facebook feed about people doing yoga with dogs, although some are more comical thank an affective form of yoga. I also remember reading about yoga with goats, which better suited to yoga

I think the best way to understand yoga is not just it’s athletic and mindful part but also it’s spiritual side. Stretching with pets seems like a fun idea but not sure how it’s benefiting the person or the pet. Anyway, this was definitely a fun post to create and I am glad you liked it.

This looks like so much fun, such a happy vibe. And I want some of it. But first I have to master the yoga bit!

Thanks for reading this post. I thought why not write something fun and relaxing for a change. You don’t have to master yoga. You can just start with doing a cobra pose every morning after waking up. It’s a great way to open up the lungs, spine, and bring mobility to the arms and neck. 🧘♀️

That’s awesome, what a great way to celebrate Yoga day and get tour pet involved too.

Yes, that’s right. Stretching exercises can be done when the pets are around. And we should always make time to cuddle our pets. Thanks for reading and liking this post, Pooja.
