Sit-To-Stand Exercise For Lazy People

Everyone wants to live a healthy life. Everyone knows about the importance of regular exercise. Everyone knows that fried foods are unhealthy. And yet, we just don’t feel like moving from the comfort of our couch. It’s as if the couch is our possessive lover who is holding us back from doing exercise.

Laziness is just a habit which we need to replace with an active lifestyle. Lack of motivation to exercise can occur for a variety of reasons. Most of us are so tired of doing household chores and taking care of the family that exercise seems a bit too much. Taking out time to exercise also means rescheduling our day and life. In this busy world when it’s difficult to stay organised, we want instant and quick solutions.

How to do Sit to Stand Exercise?

Step 1 Sit with a straight spine and get up with the support of the couch like you normally do. And then sit down.
Step 2 Sit on the edge of your chair or sofa and then get up straight with or without support. And then sit down again.
Step 3 Sit on the edge of your chair or sofa with your spine straight and your hands on your hips. And now try to get up without any support and without wobbling. And then sit back down.
Step 4 Sit straight on the edge of your chair or sofa and keep your arms straight in front of you. Now, try to get up without any support. Keep your arms straight in front of you, and try to sit down.

These are four easy ways to do it. If you don’t have any difficulty doing the first 3 steps, then you can do just the 4th one for 60 seconds. You can do this exercise when you are bored of watching the advertisements while waiting for the soccer game to continue. Or you can do it when you are sitting in a queue.
